Tweak of the week
Tweak #27 - march 20, 2002
When you log off from Windows, Windows tries to end all programs you started. When a program is not responding, you are asked to end it.
On Windows NT, 2000 and XP, you can make windows do this automatically.
Go to the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
Look for the following value:
AutoEndTasks
This value should exist as a REG_DWORD and be set to 0.
Change this value to 1.
